Annie Lacasse (She/They) – Intern

As a Lansing native, it’s an honor to give back to the community that raised me.  I believe that community gives each of us a sense of purpose, connection, and helps shape our identities.  Through my personal journey navigating the communities I belong to, I unearthed my passion for supporting others experiencing challenges.

My approach to counseling is holistic, understanding that not everyone has the same resources, barriers, or starting line.  I primarily work with teens and young adults seeking support for gender identity, sexuality, C-PTSD, neurodivergence, and substance use.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy thrifting grandma sweaters, exploring local coffee shops, and hiking with my puppy!

Annie is currently pursuing Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling at Michigan State University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Political Science.
