Sydney Strandberg, MA, LMSW

I believe that any person is capable of change given the education and tools. My approach to therapy is interactive and holistic, looking beyond the traditional focus of “one size fits all”, I synthesize and integrate concepts and treatment models to fit the uniqueness of your personality and needs.

I am trained to provide cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, interpersonal and family psychotherapy, and mindfulness and trauma-informed care. I have also received endorsement in infant and maternal mental health. I have a special interest in depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and emotional dysregulation. Prior to joining Juibilee Counseling, I worked as a mental health provider in large outpatient medical and community mental health settings, where I was repeatedly recognized for excellence in trauma-informed care and psychotherapeutic treatment.

I embody an empathetic, non-judgmental, and trustworthy stance with the goal of creating a safe and supportive environment to explore new insights, coping skills, and areas of growth. In our therapeutic relationship, I am here to help you find growth, restoration and change.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University.
